« I do not say that I shall pray the Father for you,
because the Father himself loves you” (John 16:26-27).
Words that are truly astonishing on the part of Jesus.
Pronounced with conviction, this statement of Jesus is amazing, almost disturbing,
He says without hesitation that he does not need to intercede on our behalf with the Father.
Yet we believe the opposite!
We are convinced that if he, the beloved Son of the Father, speaks in our favor,
then, we will obtain what we desire…
Jesus tells us that his intercession is not needed for the simple reason that… God loves us!…
GOD LOVES US…
What could be added to these three words expressing a revelation that is absolutely unique?…
And it comes to us from Jesus himself.
