Light… it is everywhere and it seems that we find it wherever we are.
In our cities, the light produced by multiple sources makes it difficult to see… the light of the stars!
The sunsets must compete with the brightness of the advertising displays surrounding us!
A very long time ago, someone has dared to say:
“I am the light of the world.
Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life” (John 8:12).

A more discrete glow, a more intimate light, but how necessary!
“I am the light of the world.”
It is what, it is WHO, gives a meaning to our existence, who gives direction to our choices, and who guides our decisions.
What to do in a given situation?
How to get back one’s landmarks after a failure?
Whom to trust when it comes to finding the way into the future?
Where to find the answers that can make sense of complex happenings?
The ‘why’ of life and death, who can answer this?
Someone has promised:
“Whoever follows me… will have the light of life.”
It is a promise, and it remains ever valid…
And the light that it offers goes well beyond what our eyes can perceive!
