He is good. She misbehaves. She speaks the truth. He is proud. She is selfish. He is lazy.
Our mind works at full speed to express itself without a second of reflection.
A reflection that would correct its hasty – and sometimes… untimely judgements – adjusting them to reality which is more complex.
A reflection which should be guided by the Spirit who helps us to consider the different aspects of a situation…
The Spirit who assists us in discovering the reasons for acting that are made more complex by heredity, handicap, human weakness…

He, the Spirit, who reminds us of Jesus’ message, a message that is always actual and demanding:
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged…
How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?” (Matthew 7:1-5).
Recently, someone was saying: “We really see only what we want to see!”
He was not commenting the gospel, only expressing the attitude of many of us!
But, this is it: we must ‘WANT to see’!
Having freed ourselves of our prejudices, our antipathy, our grudges…
