
Six words…
A short and reassuring sentence: “It is I; don’t be afraid” (John 6:20).
This is enough to reveal a presence, to give back security.
This is what they needed, the apostles, on that night.
In their boat, they were struggling against “a strong wind blowing as the waters grew rough” (John 6:18).

But this voice making itself heard above the waves, it changes everything.
The apostles are no longer alone, someone has seen, someone has understood…
“They were willing to take him into the boat,
but immediately the boat reached the shore where they were heading” (John 6:21).
We, too, have our own storms – not those of the sea of Galilea – mais they are no less real…
The storms of daily life… the headwinds threatening our existence…
Disagreements… Opposition… Misunderstandings…
Dependence… Doubts… Desillusion … Discouragement…
Failures… Regrets… Guilt…
Will we manage to hear the voice that changes everything… and to trust it?…
