
“I bless you, Father, for hiding these things from the learned and the clever
and reveling them to mere children” (Luke 10:21).

It is good and comforting to believe this:
that God does not depend on human intelligence and wisdom to reveal himself.
This knowledge is not the result of diplomas one has obtained, and it is not acquired from learned people.
It is a gift that God grants as he makes himself known to us.
Jesus rejoiced in this, and we can rejoice as well.
Of course, a person can study, scrutinize relevant texts, consult theologians.
But true knowledge, the one that reaches the heart at its deepest, this is something given by the Spirit of God himself.
A reason to rejoice indeed!
